What to expect: Policy and FAQ:

BuxieJo Bags is a very small operation. Please keep in mind that handmade items have slight variations based on the leather and human craftsmanship.

​

Please remember that the cows and bison used to make our goods were all living and breathing animals at one point in time. Although we source all materials personally and seek out only the highest quality leathers, there are bound to be imperfections due to the life of the animal such as brand marks, scars, even stretch marks. All these are part of the uniqueness of the material and what make each piece so special.

Leather is a natural material that gets better over time. You can expect some color change, softness, and on the hair-on hides there will be some balding and shedding depending on your habits, yep, its normal. This is the character that can only come from your wear patterns. The distress will create distinction only the highest quality staples can provide.

Shipping:

Shipping is always free on all orders and are typically processed the following business day. BuxieJo will contact customers with questions about specifics in their order as well as customization of items in the order that may delay the shipping of items based on the amount of time it takes for BuxieJo to receive a response from the orderer. Return shipping labels will be provided for defective items being returned with prior approval from BuxieJo. Please contact us immediately if the item you received is defective or damaged.

Custom orders:

Most of the materials we use are purchased individually. A lot of the time we search to find leather that is very rare. Due to the fact that these materials are not available in large quantities it is difficult for us to remake some items once they’re sold. When it comes to hair-on items, we try to keep a black and white, gold, brown, and spotted in stock/on-hand. All the patterns and colors will vary.

 

We are able to make bags with the sewing patterns currently perfected. If you see something we have made and would like it in different colors or materials, please ask! Sourcing custom materials can be costly, so for all custom orders, there may be non-refundable fees on custom orders to cover the costs of buying materials, pattern-making, and assembly.

 

Returns/exchanges:

If you receive something you don’t absolutely love, send it back. We’d love to hear what you’d change, add or replace? Please let us know as soon as possible what the problem is and what you’d like to do to solve it.

 

BuxieJo can except returns/exchanges within 7 days of getting your item. The item being returned must be in its original condition. Any shipping cost incurred on returns is the responsibility of the customer unless the defect is due to craftsmanship.

 

Repairs are free on any issue for the first 3 months. After that your hardware is covered for a year. If your item needs anything beyond that please contact us directly via email at Buxiejobags@gmail.com so we can discuss the specific issues. For custom bag and shoe orders, refunds will be issued minus any custom order fees to cover the cost of sourcing custom materials.

BuxieJo Bags will never sell your data to anyone. We will only use any collected data to sell you modern, rustic, badass bags.
