Antiquities #02 - Wynkoop

The antiquities collection features amazing and rare finds from our travels home and abroad! The bags all have a collage of 1880 Persian rug, 1980 geometric fabric, and some of our favorite camo and hot pink leathers with ornate stitching and solid brass rivets. The back is a deep forest green with damask wallpaper pattern, or, on a select few bags, a thick dark green pebble-grain leather. Each bag is individually numbered on a leather placard riveted to the front of the bag, and our logo is branded in gold and riveted on the back side of the bag. The interior is lined with a fun tiger print linen fabric.

Combining traditional techniques with old world styles helps us construct a durable and lightweight everyday carry that is as distinct and charming. All natural cowhides have been treated with a process called Chromium dying. This helps the hair stay intact as well as create a very soft leather. All cowhides selected are hand-picked for their unique patterns, colors, and quality. All cowhides used for BuxieJo bags come from Brazil where the tanneries are known to have the most humane practices and best product quality standards.
